PROJECTS I'M WORKING ON

I recently published Tales of Adventure, a compilation of my short stories and poems. However, that is far from all of what I have written, and I have no intention of quitting now that I have one published work. I have plenty of ideas that I intend to pursue further.

AN UNTITLED NOVEL

This is a novel I have been working on. I am presently around 125 pages into the main story, but I also have at least 40 pages of notes, partially-finished chapters, concept ideas, and facts about the world I am building. This story will likely have a prequel, sequel, and compilation of short stories that take place within the same world. The premise of the novel itself is a world of humans, elves, dwarves, dragons, and other mythical creatures (including a few of my own imagination). The interactions between two human kingdoms (plus a few mythical creatures) are the focus of the novel's plot.  If you are interested, contact me about reading what I have so far.

WRITING LESSONS

This is a book about how to write creatively. Although a lot of people have no problem expressing creativity in writing, most people imagine things differently. I want to share what I have learned through my writing experiences with others. Through intentional writing prompts and teaching segments, I hope to expand the creativity of writers. I also hope to increase many writers' awareness of the difference between what they write and what readers will imagine.

THEOLOGY & THE WILDERNESS

This work is not yet really defined, but I am writing down important insights, thoughts, and ideas about creation care, wilderness incorporated into the Christian life, and my thoughts on the West. Some of these thoughts are my perspective of the Bible and of God. Some are theology I learned and that I believe is important enough to share. Some thoughts are how we as Christians can live healthy lives in the modern world. I am not certain how the book will look in the end, but I believe it will take shape as I continue to add to it over time.
